Polarkonsult expands with new offices in the region and in Stavanger.

Harstad, October 23, 2023 – In line with the steadily increasing demand for its services, Polarkonsult announces ambitious plans for expansion. The company is primarily focused on regional growth, with the opening of a new office in Narvik, expansion in Svolvær, and the establishment of a new office in Stavanger.

Meeting the opportunities:

«In Narvik, we see a vibrant industrial and academic environment, and we want to be a part of this dynamic. We aim to be closely connected to the University of Narvik for recruitment and projects, as well as there being a growing environment within the energy and maritime industry in the city,» states CEO Thomas Myhre.

In Svolvær, the company will increase its staff by 2-3 new employees to meet the opportunities present in the maritime sector in Lofoten. Furthermore, the opening of the office in Stavanger will allow Polarkonsult to gain a solid foothold within the technology and offshore sectors.

New establishments:

With their latest establishments and the upcoming team expansion, the company will exceed 40 employees by the end of the first quarter. Polarkonsult will then have offices in Harstad (Equinor building), Svolvær, Narvik, Bergen, and Stavanger. This significant growth is primarily due to increased activity in the sectors of oil and gas, defense, as well as exciting new projects within ship design.
