In the 1990s, Polarkonsult collaborated with Troms Fylkes Dampskipsselskap (TFDS) to deliver the first civilian-built vessel leased by the Norwegian Coast Guard. Constructed at Myklebust Verft and delivered in 1997, the vessel represented a groundbreaking approach to the Coast Guard fleet, designed to meet both civilian and military needs. Polarkonsult provided technical specifications and construction documentation, ensuring a functional and versatile design.
