\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPolarkonsult strengthens its position in the energy sector through a new, comprehensive framework agreement with Head Energy. The agreement involves the delivery of technical personnel into Head Energy\u2019s contract with V\u00e5r Energi and covers projects and operations in the Barents Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and the North Sea.\n\nThe contract runs for five years, with options that may extend the period to a total of up to eleven years. For Polarkonsult, this is one of the most long-term and strategically important personnel agreements the company has entered into.\n
\u201cThis is a milestone for us. We have worked purposefully to build expertise and capacity within energy, and this agreement demonstrates that a technical professional environment from Northern Norway is fully on par with the largest players in the country. The collaboration with Head Energy provides us with a solid entry into new projects, and we look forward to supporting V\u00e5r Energi\u2019s needs in the years ahead,\u201d says Thomas Myhre, Managing Director of Polarkonsult.<\/div>\n
<\/div><\/blockquote>\nSeveral industry analyses indicate that the Norwegian continental shelf is entering a period of high activity from 2026. Investment figures for oil and gas in 2026 point to continued strong activity within project development, modifications, and maintenance. This sends clear signals that the demand for technical expertise will remain high.\n
\u201cWe see a development where the shelf is entering an active period. The need for expertise within modifications, operations, and maintenance is increasing, and this agreement positions us well to take part in that development. <\/b>Through the agreement, Polarkonsult will deliver a broad range of expertise, including process and operations personnel, subsea and offshore engineers, project personnel, marine disciplines, as well as technical and administrative roles.<\/span><\/p>

To meet demand, the company will significantly strengthen its recruitment activities in 2025 and 2026. Polarkonsult will advertise positions continuously and seek out qualified candidates throughout Norway.<\/p>

\u201cWe will be recruiting actively. Both experienced professionals and new candidates with a technical background will be important to us. This is an opportunity for specialists who want to work closely with major operators and important projects,\u201d says Rokkerud.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Polarkonsult is headquartered in Harstad but delivers services and engineering expertise across the country. That a Northern Norwegian professional environment is now becoming an active part of V\u00e5r Energi\u2019s national operations is highlighted as an important signal.<\/p>
